(627-8A x Green Glow) Dr. August Kehr, a plant geneticist and Azalea enthusiast, worked diligently for years to develop an evergreen yellow Azalea. Perhaps not the golden yellow he may have been working toward, nonetheless, Kehr’s Moonbeam is unique and beautiful, very creamy with greenish tones near center. The flower is a medium sized hose-in-hose and fairly long blooming, and the plant is glossy green and medium in growth, making Kehr’s Moonbeam a wonderful addition to any Azalea collection.
